Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils from aromatic herbs, flowers and trees to restore or enhance health and well-being.
The principles of healing are the same as those of herbology; however, essential oils are more concentrated and potent than dried herbs and are remarkable for their ability to penetrate through the skin to the underlying tissues and organs.
Essential oils help reduce stress and tension, act as toners or stimulants to the psyche, can catalyze detoxification, induce relaxation and serve as remedies for minor ailments. These combinations are for external use only and are not meant to replace the services of a trained health practitioner.
All of the following combinations (except Sinus Release) are in a base of certified organic Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Sunflower Seed and Avocado oils, and preserved with natural non-GMO vitamin E. The essential oils are pure and natural certified organic, wild-crafted and unsprayed. None are extended or redistilled. All the combinations are packaged in 1/2 oz. amber glass bottles. Kept cool and dark, these combinations will stay fresh up to a year.

Allergy Assist
Use: For symptomatic relief of asthma, allergies and hay fever. Use the same as Respiratory Tonic.
Ingredients: essential oils of Cypress, Peppermint, Wild Marjoram, Khella (Ammi visnaga), Creeping Hyssop, True Niaouli (MQV), Blue Mugwort, and Owyhee (Artemisia ludoviciana).

Anti-inflammatory
Use: Good for burns, bruises, poison ivy, wounds, inflammation, eczema, herpes, boils, rheumatic pain, pruritis and gout. Suggested dosage: Rub 1-2 drops onto affected area twice a day, more often for acute ailments.

Cramp Ease
Use: To ease menstrual cramps, rub several drops onto the abdominal and lower back regions twice daily, beginning a few days before period is due and continuing through the period. Relief seems to be progressive over the course of several months.

Liver Support
Use: As an aid to liver tonification, rub a few drops on the skin over the liver and gall bladder twice daily. Cut consumption of meat, oils, fried foods, and alcohol. Drink water and walk in the fresh air.

Lymphatic Defense
Use: Primarily for the fairly healthy person to help keep their immune function working well. To use as a tonic or alterative (affecting beneficial change gradually over a period of time), place a few drops on lymph nodes (on throat and/or armpit and/or groin twice daily. This formula also aids in tonifying sluggish lymph and can be used for lymphatic massage.
Ingredients: Geranium, True Niaouli (MQV), Lavender, Rosemary (chemotpye cineole) and Rosmarinus pyramidalis, Lavender Sage and Thyme (chemotype geraniol).

Lymphatic Tonic
Use: A formula that gently stimulates; for regeneration and immune system tonification. May also help in relief of shingles. Use as for Lymphatic Defense. The two combinations can be used in tandem, using one formula one week, the other one the following week. As with any other herbal preparations, the use of immune tonics are complemented by regular exercise, plenty of water, good diet (as in unprocessed, fresh and low fat foods), moderate living habits and massage.

Respiratory Tonic
Use: For symptomatic relief of colds and flu. To help relieve sinus and/or bronchial congestion, rub a few drops over the sinuses and/or lungs area twice a day or as necessary. Can also be rubbed over the throat or a few drops placed in a bowl of steaming water and inhaled.
Ingredients: essential oils of Pine, Cypress, Blue Gum Eucalyptus, Ravensare aromatica, Green Myrtle, and True Niaouli (MQV) (Melaleuca quinquenervia viridiflorolifera).

Sinus Release
Use: To help clear the sinuses of congestion due to viral or bacterial infection or allergies: lay down, tilt head back, and drop one drop in each nostril. If the dropper touches the nostril, rinse with alcohol before returning to bottle. Friends call this combination "Sinus Bomb," and sneezing sometimes accompanies use! For a less dramatic effect, shake and rub a few drops onto the face over the sinus areas, or place 5 drops in a bowl of steaming water and inhale. Comes with a glass dropper for easy application.

Tea Tree Essential Oil
Use: This is pure organic or wild harvested undiluted Melaleuca alternafolia from Australia. An excellent bactericide and fungicide, it can be used directly from the bottle onto the skin. Excellent for acne, herpes, ingrown nails, athlete's foot, dandruff and insect bites. Can be added to warm water for a douche (use 12 drops per 8 oz. water) to treat yeast and other infections, or taken internally (under the supervision of a health practitioner) to treat systemic Candida Albicans.
