Use: A bowel tonic and mild laxative; helps with chronic constipation as it encourages peristalsis and tones relaxed muscles of the digestive system (atonic bowel). Do not use if pregnant, hypersensitive from sodium retention or profoundly immune deficient. Best not to use every day for more than a week at a time.
