Incense

Aromatic plants have been used as incense for thousands of years by most tribal cultures and early civilizations. Many cultures and religions continue to use them to assist in worship. Incense has been used ritually for physical healing as well as spiritual work. Aromatic plants burned on charcoal release pleasant-smelling smoke that many people find uplifting, protecting, purifying, and/or cleansing. All of the ingredients in these mixtures are certified (or home-grown in the case of ceremonial tobacco) organic or ethically wildcrafted. The resins are dry and require charcoal to burn. All of the herbs in the incense blends are loose and cut into a small particle size (not powdered and not stick) and will burn better on charcoal.

Incense Blends

	Seven Sisters Cost: $4.25 Size: 2 oz. Ingredients: Balsam Fir, California Cedar, White Sage, Sweetgrass, Piñon, Lavender and Uva Ursi.

	Nine Muses Cost: $4.25 Size: 2 oz. Ingredients: Same as Seven Sisters with the addition of Yerba Santa and ceremonial Tobacco.

	Three Queens Cost: $4.25 Size: 2 oz. Ingredients: Copal, Frankincense and Myrrh.

	World Wood Cost: $3.00 Size: 1 oz. Ingredients: Sandalwood, California Cedar, Piñon and Copal.

Swift Lite Charcoal Cost: $3.45 Size: 2 oz. Ingredients: Remove a charcoal tablet and place on a heat proof dish (best with some sand as insulation) or in a censer. Light the edge of the charcoal with a match or a taper. The tablet will then light across its surface. Wait a minute and add incense as desired. Tablets may be broken up first, but if the piece is small, hold with a tweezer so you don't burn yourself. Allow the charcoal to burn itself out and cool before disposing of the ashes. To extinguish a tablet before it burns out and cools, quench in a container of cold water. Package of 10 charcoals.
