Spirit Water

Spirit Water Curanderas(os) and shamans of Mexico and South America use Spirit Water for a wide variety of spiritual purposes. Originally made by steeping flowers in water, it is offered as a sweet water gift to call the spirits, used for cleansing of negative or malevolent influences in people and/or spaces, applied during healing rituals, and as part of a recipe for certain bano de flores (healing baths). The fragrance of the water is inhaled deeply to induce grounding, connection and healing.

All - Purpose Spirit Water
This recipe was developed under the direction of shamanic practitioner Cindy Lindsay Rael (who also provided most of the information about Spirit Water; thank you!) and is compatible with Aztecan and Peruvian traditions.

This organic recipe is safer to use in the mouth (as certain Peruvian practitioners do) than most traditional formulas that use cheaper alcohol and colorings.

Ingredients: certified organic USP grain alcohol, distilled water, essential oils of certified organic Tea Tree and Niaouli, ecologically wildcrafted Atlas Cedar, certified organic Juniper, Lavender Sage and Lemon, and unsprayed Lime and Red Mandarin, ethically wildcrafted Benzoin tincture, and Self Heal Flower essence. Alcohol content is slightly less than 50%.

Heavy Energy Spirit Water
The combination of rosemary, rue, and scotch broom is used by curanderas(os) and shamans of South America as a profound cleanser of negative energy. The combined strength is enough to counter even black magic curses. Traditionally, sprigs of the herbs are used; however, the Heavy Energy Spirit Water can be used instead, by spraying the body of the person involved, as well as their living space and possessions. Do this with a loving and open heart. This will help cleanse the energy from pyschic attack, negative thought forms, and black magic spells. Please note that it is important that the person using the these herbs maintain positive thoughts, and strictly avoid any cursing or spelling of their own, including the avoidance of any negative thoughts of their own toward those who may have harmed them. For those who follow the Aztecan tradition, there are 2 Rosemary oils available for this purpose. The Camphor chemotype is stronger, and the Cineole chemotype is safer for children, pregnant women, and the elderly.

Ingredients: certified organic USP grain alcohol, distilled water, essential oils of ethically wildcrafted Rosemary (chemotype cineole), Rue, and ethically wildcrafted tinctures of Scotch Broom and Benzoin. Alcohol content is slightly less than 50%.
